Hello! We will not be holding regularly scheduled office hours during dead week/finals week for Fall 2014. If you would like to speak to a counselor, we will still be available via appointment. Please see the tab for making appointments.
SSPC will be hosting two events for raising awareness about suicide. The first is the candlelight vigil on Monday, 11/10, 7 pm at the Memorial Glade Reflecting Pool, in between the East Asian and Moffit Libraries. The second event will be the Suicide Survivors Panel, Wed. 11/12 at 6:30 – 8pm at GPB 103. Please join us in remembering those who have been affected by suicide and spreading awareness. Check out our table on Sproul this week for any questions or additional info!
Hello fellow Berkeley Students! SSPC’s Shyness Workshop is back again this semester! If you are interested in how shyness, introversion, and extraversion interplay and manifest in our current society, please check out this amazing workshop! Anyone is welcome to come! It will take place on October 21st, 6-8 p.m., in 110 Barrows.
Student-to-Student Peer Counseling invites you to Untold Stories: a safe forum to talk about anything and everything.
Whether it’s an emotional hardship or personal triumph, everyone has a story. Too often, however, these stories remain untold, silenced by fear, humility, or the stigma surrounding mental health. Untold Stories is a forum dedicated to bringing these stories to light and providing a safe space for students to tell their stories and support their peers.
Sharing is not required, only encouraged. Join us for an evening filled with amazing experiences and good company. Refreshments will be provided. Come listen, come share, and let’s break this silence together.
223 Dwinelle on October 8th from 6-8 p.m.
