We recruit new counselors every semester and put them through rigorous training so you are ready to counsel our clients and help them through tough situations. More »

SSPC Decal

SSPC offers a Decal traditionally every semester to help students understand the therapy process we go through with each of our clients and why we us the processes we do. It is a semester long course which gives prepares you for the SSPC counseling examination. See the decal page for more info. More »

SSPC will be having its first Peer Support group of the spring semester on Tuesday, March 11th, 6-8 p.m. in 151 Barrows.

Shyness Workshop

Hello fellow Berkeley Students! SSPC’s Shyness Workshop is back again this semester! This is the second time we are running this new workshop, and because of the positive feedback we received last semester, we’re bringing it back! If you are interested in how shyness, introversion, and extraversion interplay and manifest in our current society, please check out this amazing workshop! Anyone is welcome to come! It will take place on February 26th, 6-8 p.m., in 30 Wheeler.

 

SSPC Shyness Workshop

To Write Love on Her Arms

MOVE: Focus is a one-day workshop presented by the national non-profit To Write Love on Her Arms. Attendees will explore issues that are rarely talked about, including depression, anxiety and suicide. The discussion will cover what is behind these struggles, what drives them, what recover looks like, and how students can make a difference. The goal of the workshop is to help create a culture and climate of hope and healing for those struggling in our homes, places of work, and schools.

The event will be hosted by Student to Student Peer Counseling.

Join Us for Stress Free Week!

SSPC is holding its semester-ly Stress Free Week from 12/2 to 12/6. We will have the materials to make stress balls on Sproul at the SSPC table all week long in addition to the following activities:
Tamarkoz Meditation hosted by the MTO Sufi Association – Monday: 5101 Tolman 3pm-5pm
Yoga – Tuesday: 251 Hearst 7pm-8m
Therapy Pets – Wednesday: Memorial Glade 11:30am-1:30pm
